Arab Federation Gold Initiative Certificate — Role Model in Healthcare Excellence

Aster DM Healthcare has been recognised under the Arab Hospitals Federation's Gold Initiative Certificate, 7th Edition ("Role Model in Healthcare Excellence"). Of the 323 healthcare institutions across the Arab world that applied, only 45 earned recognition. Aster DM Healthcare achieved Gold-level status based on the performance of its participating healthcare facilities across the region.

The certificate assesses applicants across eight dimensions, from quality and patient safety through to digital health and medical tourism. According to Aster's evaluation results, the group scored strongest in Medical Tourism & International Patient Care Excellence and Digital Health & Technology Innovation, and was ranked first in the Arab region for Sustainability, Hospital Design & Resilience.

Accreditation Canada — Diamond Level Status

Aster Hospitals Dubai holds Diamond Level Status from Accreditation Canada, the highest tier the programme awards, covering the Mankhool and Al Qusais hospitals and the Aster Day Surgery Centre in Mankhool. Accreditation Canada carried out its assessment of the three units in December 2019, examining governance, patient safety, clinical quality and continuous improvement against internationally recognised standards. 

Diamond Level Status is maintained through ongoing reassessment and is awarded to organisations demonstrating sustained compliance with internationally recognised standards while continuously improving quality and patient safety.

Emirates International Accreditation Centre (EIAC)

Several Aster Hospitals Dubai facilities, along with the group's laboratories, are accredited by the Emirates International Accreditation Centre, the UAE government body responsible for assessing conformity assessment bodies and healthcare laboratories against internationally recognised standards. This is a separate, government-run check on technical competence and quality management, distinct from the clinical accreditations above.

Global Medical Excellence Award — Dubai Quality Group
