Dr. Sajid Basheer is an experienced Specialist Anaesthesiologist with over 13 years of overall clinical experience, including more than 7 years as a Consultant Anaesthesiologist and Intensivist. He has extensive experience in general and regional anaesthesia, airway management, perioperative care and critical care medicine. His clinical practice includes providing anaesthesia for complex surgical procedures and managing high-risk patients across paediatric, geriatric and obstetric specialties.
His clinical expertise includes ultrasound-guided peripheral nerve blocks, difficult airway management, fibre-optic and hybrid intubation techniques, obstetric anaesthesia, labour analgesia and mechanical ventilation. He also has substantial experience in medical and surgical intensive care, including the management of critically ill patients, emergency airway interventions and postoperative critical care.
